Why is Wordpress better?

I was recently challenged over the effectiveness of wordpress compared to other content management systems such as joomla. So here is a link to a fantastic article laying out some of the benefits of Wordpress.

This is not to say that other CMS do not have their own benefits, but for the easiest and most versatile one stop shop for all speedy website solutions I go to wordpress.
